2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Detail

There is something to be said about vehicles that were built for the track. Some may say, that perhaps they aren’t practical or that they have too much power for street use. While others, wish every car was built this way. The 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca Edition is just such a car. Perfectly balanced for the track, this 440 Horsepower beast can reach 155 m.p.h with it’s 5 liter V8 engine. The vehicle even comes with a “track key” that changes this car to a race-ready monster.

We recently had a client bring us such a car to SweetCars for detailing. The car was going to be entered in the Fort Wayne Mustang Show and the client wanted it show-ready. His goal was to have a prize winning vehicle at the event, so I got started on what later became a prize winner at the Fort Wayne Mustang Show. The vehicle won the awards for “Best in Class” and the “People’s Choice”. Here are pictures of the detailing process and the finished product.
