From time to time, we get vehicles at SweetCars that require a little more than detailing. These cars often require what we like to call restorative detailing, which is an approach we took with a Maserati Quattroporte that was sent up from Palm Beach, Florida. This vehicle had the common “stickies” on the interior trim of the vehicle. The warm climate had virtually “melted” the majority of the interior. Some of the parts had to be replaced, as they were found to be broken and in bad disrepair. The intention of the restoration detail was to bring this vehicle to a good as new condition. This meant that in order to recondition these trim pieces, the vehicle had to be disassembled to gain access to properly restore them. Using our in-house process for restoring “sticky” parts such as those found in Ferrari and Maserati, the vehicle made a dramatic transformation. If you have a “sticky” situation, call us at 1-260-207-2277 or contact us at mike@sweetcars.com.
