Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster Paint Correction Detail

Developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren, the SLR was created at a time when Mercedes owned a good portion of McLaren Group. The SLR or “Sport Leicht Rennsport” was built in England at the plant in Surrey and would behold a 5.4 Liter Supercharged V8 engine. With 0-60 times coming in at around the 3 second mark, the SLR was an amazing collaboration between the German Automaker and the Formula One Giant. Many editions of the SLR were built during it’s 7 year production run between 2003 and 2010. Many of them with rare features, and in one case a special client of SweetCars brought his newly acquired SLR Roadster to be detailed. His SLR featured an extremely rare convertible top which was on of a handful ever made. The vehicle was brought to SweetCars to be paint corrected and given “super gloss” as the owner had requested upon dropping off the vehicle. The paint was treated with 22ple Glass Coating after it’s paint correction process. The engine and interior were also meticulously detailed to bring the SLR to the owner’s expectations.
