A strong engine is the beating heart of any vehicle. A car can’t run without it. Extended gaps between oil service can be just as dangerous for your engine as a high-cholesterol diet can be for your heart. A longtime customer of ours discovered that too late. He brought in his 2014 GMC Terrain with a 2.4L engine we deemed beyond repair.
He trusted SweetCars alone to make the vehicle road worthy again. We knew we’d need to replace the entire engine, and we chose to do so with a remanufactured one. Our team researched and located a reliable source for a fully remanufactured engine and sent the old, worn-out engine back as a core.
We removed the damaged original engine and began installing the remanufactured engine. During the process, we elected to replace any additional wear-items that needed addressed. Essentially, we hit the reset button on the new engine and replaced ACDelco sensors, water pump and gaskets as needed. Our careful research when selecting the remanufactured engine allowed us to offer our customer a four-year limited warranty.
